01Overview
The lobby as a gallery.

Express Towers is one of Mumbai's original premium office addresses, and the task ran beyond signage into the whole interior experience: the art on the walls, the feel of the lift lobbies, and the wayfinding that ties the building together. The brief was a sense of quiet wealth — present, never loud.

One material decision holds it all: gold and brass against white marble. Every piece, from a three-metre sculptural installation to a parking sign, speaks that same two-word language.

Art on the Wall

Sculpture that earns its marble.

The walls carry a family of metal installations — scattered gold leaves, a field of gilded orbs, paired wave forms, a row of sunburst clocks, and pierced geometric screens. Each is its own piece, but all share a vocabulary of warm metal on cool stone, so the building reads as a curated whole rather than a catalogue of features.

Down to the Sign

The same restraint runs into the working parts of the building: brass-lined lift lobbies, a reception counter fronted in jali, and a wayfinding set — parking, baggage scanner, floor directories — in black and gold that sits comfortably beside the art. Premium environments fail at the edges, so the edges got the same attention as the centrepieces.
